Nelson Soccer Association & Kootenay United Football Academy
The Nelson Soccer Association is a non-profit community soccer association whose mission is to provide all soccer players, coaches, officials and parents in the Nelson and area with programs and opportunities to learn, play and excel in the sport of soccer regardless of any aspect of their identity including but not limited to race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, ability or age. The association aims to ensure that these opportunities are granted in a safe, inclusive, fun and supportive manner.
Kootenay United Football Academy is the academy for Nelson Soccer Association and supports players development throughout the Kootenay region of BC

Kootenay East Soccer Association
Kootenay East Soccer Association is the umbrella organization for youth and adult soccer in Cranbrook BC. KESA operates programs for players from age 3 to adult soccer. KESA also owns and operates New Dawn Place which is available for all types of indoor activities year-round. In addition to on-going soccer programs, they also host the New Dawn Cup tournaments which provides a tournament option for youth and adults.
Mission: To promote, develop, and facilitate the game of soccer for all players regardless of gender, age and ability.

Dan's Legacy
Dan’s Legacy provides no-barrier trauma-informed counselling, outreach and job-skills training programs to at-risk youth across Metro Vancouver. The charity works upstream, responding to youth when they first ask for help. This harm prevention approach has a direct and measurable impact by diverting vulnerable youth from homelessness, life-long mental health issues, overdose and suicide. In 2025 Dan’s Legacy helped over 700 youth stabilize, and begin working towards their educational, employment and recovery goals.
Mission: To provide youth who have experienced trauma, with effective counselling, education, vocational, and other support programming.
